Commissioned by Theater o.N. for FRATZ International 2019

Out of a desire to recognize and interact with non-human beings, Jared Gradinger and Angela Schubot forged a deep relationship with nature and its immanent intelligence. In co-production with HAU Berlin, a cycle of work emerged – »The Nature of Us«. For FRATZ 2019, Gradinger & Schu-bot adapt their duet »YEW: outside«, set in the public botanical park in Berlin’s district of Pankow, as a variation offering very young children intensive encounters with a plant nature.

The work of performance duo Gradinger & Schubot revolves around unconditional co-existence and dissolution of the self, characterized by an extreme physical movement language and unique artistic handwriting.
