The MOSSBELLY film research is an ongoing film research inspired by the MOSSBELLY group piece. It is happening in shifting collaborations with Polish filmmaker and dance artist Katarzyna Szugajew, Kate Nankervis, Ann Trépanier, Andreea David, Shelley Etkin and filmmaker and artist Kika Thorne.

We are interested in the celebration of truly singular, undisciplined bodies. At the center of the film is the materiality of the body, which opens itself up to the forces of the world and does not live them in mental spaces, but produces them in the first place by incarnating into its own flesh. This body is infused with the non-human, with plant consciousness and other species.
