CHOIRing (2025 ongoing) 

A sounding practice initiated by Angela Vitovec and carried forth by many other voices like Kika Thorne, Lo Bil, Nyda Kwasowsky, Simone Moir, Erica McDowell, Amy Manusov, Kate Nankervis, Joey Eddy, Aisha Sasha John, Ayla Heeds and many more. 

Every Friday from 5pm–7pm, we sing together, we sound together, we make noises, we invite ancestors to join. We shed and cleanse through song. We sing with and to the plants. We meet medicine melodies. We open spaces ,we sing together ,we sing next to one another ,we forget about each other ,we expand without taking away space for others. We don’t plan anything. We don’t have a score. We don’t know what we are doing, and that’s the best part about it.

We practice in Toronto at Collective Space, 101 Florence Street
